Information used to inform a decision must be evidential and not based on hearsay or opinion. The evidence must be complete and not just an analysis of 'surviving' data.
Knowledge-informed
Any insights presented to inform a decision must be informed by scientific, evidence-based knowledge
Iterative
Any insights presented to inform a decision must be understood to be iterative as uncertainties are reduced with knowledge over time (particularly probabilistic knowledge including trending and analysis)

The insights presented to inform a decision are based on sound knowledge. As knowledge can be uncertain or require specific expertise to understand, it is confirmed that the knowledge is interpreted correctly.
